Robertson Oldsmobile-Cadillac Inc. was founded in August, 1982, by Moss and Lindsay Robertson.  Over the years, Moss Robertson of Gainesville (as we are known in the community) has received many awards, including the coveted Cadillac Master Dealer and Oldsmobile Elite Dealer Awards. We are very proud of these awards, but we are most proud of the way we take care of our Customers and the community.  Our dealership has been very active in and supportive of many community activities, including United Way, Good News at Noon, Prevent Child Abuse, The North Georgia Community Foundation, Center Point, Secret Santa, Gainesville Chamber of Commerce, Northeast Georgia Medical Foundation, and our annual Coat Drive.

JD Power 2008 SSI Survey Results Show GM Dealers Outperformed The Industry Average

Dear GM Dealer
 
 Against the backdrop of a challenging market and negative news, there is a lot going right. at GM.
 
Thanks to you our GM Dealers who remain committed to achieving industry leadership on all fronts.  On Wednesday, JD Power released their 2008 Sales Satisfaction Index (SSI) survey results and I am pleased to announce all eight of our GM Brands outperformed industry average.  According to JD Power, “GM has some of the best dealers in the industry.”  I agree, you are the BEST! 
 
For 3 years running the industry average continues to improve, this year the industry average was at 857 up five points from last year alone.  Among the top brands for GM, Hummer finished 2nd ahead of Lexus.  Cadillac followed in fourth place rising from 7th place last year, with Buick finishing in 9th place.  That gives us 3 Brands in the top 10. 
 
Satisfying customers doesn’t begin when your customers get behind the wheel, it starts when they walk through the doors of your dealerships, click on your web sites, or call on the phone.  These results are a testament to the great work and efforts you and your teams put into satisfying customers on a daily basis. 
 
I know we have been faced with some difficult challenges but with your commitment coupled with our internal efforts, we can continue to run the business even better.  The truth is that customers continue to respond well to GM’s new products in the market with segment-leading quality, fuel economy, features and performance across our entire product portfolio. 
 
We have set ourselves apart from our competitors and need to stay the course.  Continue to look at your processes in every aspect of the business, sales, service, parts, etc. and see how we can continue to improve.  You are the best, most dedicated dealer body and now have the bragging rights to prove it.  I remain convinced that we can achieve whatever we put our minds to.
